READ FOR DEMOCRACY

We read a new book every month, then take coordinated action to defend democracy ✊

Meetings are monthly and include a short author interview or planned conversation between 2 community members, followed by an open discussion for everyone who comes to the meeting!

We don’t limit ourselves to just discussion about the book - this is a great opportunity to come get plugged into our work by meeting HOCTX organizers and volunteers. We share information about upcoming events and elections, and what policy activism we’re doing in the upcoming weeks.
